The research group for Applied Materials & Biological Mass Spectrometry (http://mass1.ac.nctu.edu.tw) in the Department of Applied Chemistry at the National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) (http://www.nctu.edu.tw/english/) in Taiwan is seeking a highly motivated researcher. The position is supported by the National Science Council of Taiwan.
We currently focus on two main research topics:
(1) development and applications of new ambient ionization techniques for mass spectrometry;
(2) synthesis and applications of ˇ§smartˇ¨ nanomaterials for targeting bacteria, cancer cells, and toxins.
We have state of the art research infrastructure and financial resources to support our research projects. The instruments available in the laboratory exclusively used for research projects are: four mass spectrometers (ion trap, Q-TOF, MALDI-TOF and MALDI TOF/TOF), fluorescence microscope, optical spectrophotometers, ultracentrifuge, dynamic light scattering system, etc.
We welcome all candidates who are interested to carry out research in mass spectrometry, nanotechnology, and biomedical research, to join our group.
Candidates should send their CV, publication list, and names of three references to Prof. Yu-Chie Chen (e-mail: ).
We would appreciate it if you would please mention ChemSeer when applying for this job
