A POSTDOCTORAL position located in the University of Maine in Le Mans (France) is available for 12 months. The expected starting date is december 1st 2010 (salary: 30,000 euros pa).

The work is focused on the synthesis of new ligands issued from the biomass and their evaluation in asymmetric catalysis and organocatalysis.

Applicants MUST HAVE a PhD in organic chemistry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in organic synthesis and have good skills in usual analytical techniques.
An experience in asymmetric catalysis and/or organocatalysis is requested.
