A postdoc position in theoretical physics/chemistry is available at the theoretical and computational Division of the National Nanotechonology Laboratory, Lecce, Italy. (http://www.theory-nnl.it)

The position is available immediately and will be three-years long. The monthly net (e.g. in your pocket) salary will be in the range 1800-2300 depending on experience.
The position is funded by the ERC-Starting Grant Project DEDOM (DEvelopment of Density Functional methods for Organic-Metal interaction)

The research project is focused on the study of the electronic and optical properties of organic molecules with noble metal surfaces, using and developing new density functional theory methods.
A large experience in simulation tools for quantum chemistry and/or solid-state-physics is required.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in theoretical/computational chemistry, condensed matter physics and other closely related fields.
