A postdoctoral position is available immediately with Prof. Li-Jen Chen in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Taiwan University. The ideal candidate would have significant experience in colloidal chemistry or interfacial phenomena. The applicant will work in the area of wetting phenomena as well as wetting transition at liquid or solid surfaces either experimentally or theoretically. Interested applicants should have a PhD in chemical engineering, physics, chemistry, or a related field is required. The applicant should have a strong desire to conduct independent research. The applicant will be expected to write publications and proposals and present work at conferences. The position will be for one year (extendable to 2 more years) and carries a competitive salary and full benefits.
