• Three projects:
  1. Transition-Metal Catalyzed Nitrogenation of Hydrocarbons
  2. Catalyst Evolution by Dynamic Templating (with Transition State Analogs)
  3. Chemicals and Fuels via Deoxydehydration of Biomass-Derived Polyols
• Preferred background for candidates:
  • - synthetic and/or mechanistic organic, inorganic, organometallic chemistry and/or homogeneous catalysis
  • - tools: air-free techniques, compound isolation, characterization by spectroscopy, kinetics, QM computational methods
  • - Ph. D. completed
• Stipend: $30,000/yr (+ health insurance); 1 year appointment with extension possible by mutual agreement
