A post-doc position is available in the MACRO group of the CMAT Unit (www.cmat.ucl.ac.be/macro/) at the catholic University of Louvain (Belgium).
The research involves the synthesis of supramolecular polymers and their self-assembly into hierarchical materials with self-healing properties. The candidate should have a PhD degree in polymer science and should be familiar with polymer synthesis and in particular with the concepts of controlled radical polymerization techniques. Additional knowledge in block copolymer self-assembly in solution and supramolecular chemistry would be an advantage. The contract will run for 1 year with possible extension.
