They are located in Saclay scientipole area (South East Paris) which is devoted to Excellence in Science.
The Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry of the f Elements (CEA) and the Orgatech Team (CEA/Ecole Polytechnique) wish to join their respective experiences to initiate a collaboration by employing a postdoc researcher for developing the use of new lanthanide compounds in optoelectronics. The ORGATECH platform has been created in the framework of a new common research team between the PICM lab (Laboratory of Physics of Interfaces and Thin Films) from Ecole Polytechnique and the CEA-LITEN Organic Electronic group.
The project aims at utilising lanthanide-containing compounds as emitters and/or charge transport layers in organic light emitting devices (OLEDs). The principal tasks of the appointee will be the design, the fabrication and the characterization of devices using both vacuum and solution deposition techniques. The devices will be characterized and their performances optimized.
