A Ph. D. position is available immediately for conducting research in the area of Nanotechnology at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. Rourkela is located on the Howarh-Mumbai rail route and is approximately 450 kilometers from Howarh. The project will be focused on preparation of different shape nanoparticles in microemulsion system, characterization of the particles, as well as different applications.

Essential Qualifications: M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical/ Biotechnology/ Material Science or related discipline (at least 60 percent marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in both B. Tech. and M. Tech level).

OR B.E/B.Tech in the above mentioned disciplines / M.Sc.(Chemistry) preferable in Physical Chemistry with a successful score in GATE or similar National Examination is essential (at least 60 percent marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA).
