The IMRCP laboratory at the University of Toulouse, France, invites applications for a postdoctoral
position of one year, starting 1st semester 2008.
We are seeking a creative and dynamic young scientist interested in designing and synthetizing
amphiphilic ODN-based hybrid block copolymers for the elaboration of nanoparticles. The position
is part of a larger project including the study of ODN-containing amphiphilic polymers in relation
with their molecular structure, and also the properties of the resulting nanoparticles as a preamble to
biomedical applications. The candidate will be in charge of the synthesis and characterization, and
should work in close interactions with the other parties in charge of the physico-chemical and
microfluidic investigations.
The successful candidate should have received her/his PhD less than 3 years ago and be highly
motivated. She/he is expected to have previous experience in oligonucleotide synthesis and either
organic or macromolecular chemistry. The position is available for a period of one year, starting
from january to march 2008. The application will be open until filled.
