Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Principal
Biopharmaceutical Scientist for a solid-dose pharmaceutical manufacturer in
Wilson, NC. This company is consistently involved in some of the most
innovative research within the pharmaceutical industry and is often seen as a
leader in its field. This company site specializes in the research and
development of generic pharmaceuticals; and focuses on providing excellent
quality products that are accessible to all parts of the health care industry.
The successful applicant will be responsible for working with both formulation
and development. Familiarity with analytical methods and product development
is a must, as well as experience with pharmacokinetics studies. This person
will be responsible for submitting experimental data and literature to support
product development. This scientist will be responsible for evaluating
proposed methods, and carrying out all necessary testing.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing in-vivo/in-vitro correlations
- Advising senior management in regards to long range formulation and
bioequivalence study planning
- Writing and reviewing regulatory documents for ANDA submissions
- Communicating with CRO's to schedule, implement and monitor studies
- Supervising and training technicians and various other lab personnel
This position requires a BS with ten years of related experience, a MS with
eight years of related experience, or a Ph.D. with six years of related
experience. However, a PharmD is highly desired. Applicants should have
experience with oral, solid-dose pharmaceuticals, as well as multi-compartment
methodology.
