A postdoctoral position is available in the combined fields of
protein structural biology and immunohematology at the Yale University School
of Medicine. Available projects will focus on molecular interactions involved
in the regulation of hematopoiesis, inflammation and/or immune function and
will involve a combination of NMR spectroscopy, Xray crystallography, and
complementary biophysical techniques such as fluorescence spectroscopy,
isothermal titration calorimetry, and surface plasmon resonance. Yale Medical
School houses state-of-the-art facilities for the support of multi-disciplinary
structural biology research and maintains a collegial environment for
scientific collaboration amongst diverse investigators. As the position will be
funded by an NIH T32 training grant, U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is
required. Successful applicants are also expected to demonstrate a clear
commitment to a future in biomedical research. Salary will be commensurate with
established NIH guidelines.
